Addendum – International customers (including United States)
1. Assumption of risk
The Camino de Santiago is a long-distance pilgrimage route involving physical activity, rural environments, and inherent risks including but not limited to:
- Slips and falls
- Weather-related hazards
- Limited medical facilities
- Physical exhaustion
By booking through PILWAY SLU, the customer voluntarily assumes all risks associated with participation.
2. Waiver of indirect damages
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
PILWAY SLU shall not be liable for:
- Emotional distress
- Loss of enjoyment
- Consequential damages
- Punitive damages
- Lost profits
3. Maximum liability
Total liability of PILWAY SLU shall not exceed the amount paid for the intermediary service.
4. Class action waiver
Customers agree that any dispute shall be resolved individually and not as part of a class action claim.
5. Governing law
All contracts are governed by Spanish law.
Any dispute shall be subject to Spanish jurisdiction unless mandatory consumer rules apply.
6. Travel insurance recommendation
All international customers are strongly advised to purchase:
- Comprehensive travel insurance
- Medical insurance valid in Spain
- Trip cancellation coverage
